Joseph was giving me the Evil Eye for taking pictures non-stop with my then 'new toy'.

This was one of the first few pictures of Erin I took when i first bought my E-PL6 in mid-August. That is when i first experienced the imagery possible with m4/3 format... wow! photographic life was about to change forever. I never imagined something so small and compact could deliver images that was as good as my Canon 60D with 50mm glass...

I was testing out my new toy, aka E-PL6, and decided to take pictures of my daughter, Erin. It's a real challenge to take any child even with a DSLR, and i was struggling to get the focus to lock on the correct place... not all of them locked onto the eyes, as Erin kept moving as she was having a great time laughing and playing hide and seek with me behind the curtains.

Boxing Day Party 2013

Joseph had a great time today playing at our neighbor's house party. It's always fun to be playing someone else's toys, right? This is my favorite picture of the day, and the first photo I'm putting up on this blog. Kids grow up real fast, and we need to catch those moments forever.

It's been 4 months since i moved from a Canon DSLR system to Olympus Micro Four Thirds, and I'm enjoying (almost) every moment of it. It's great to be able to carry a much smaller camera, very quiet, and take great pictures without anyone noticing. It makes taking such moments more fun and I can fade into the background without intimidating anyone with a BIG camera.

Since there are loads of sites out there with camera reviews, which i totally enjoy reading, i will just focus on putting up my pictures and talking about how i am learning my new Olympus gear!
